Purpose of position: Assisting Quincy’s Family SteakHouse coworkers and management to consistently provide flavorful, fresh and properly prepared food to our guests.

I. List of Major duties and responsibilities involved:

  1. Stocking and accurately maintaining Meat Room supplies.
  2. Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment.
  3. Assist management and coworkers in a courteous manner.
  4. Full knowledge of steak cuts being sold by Quincy’s and Western Sizzlin.
  5. Maintain meat cutting specs and knowledge of food cost savings.
  6. Accurately filling out Yield and Meat Cutter Reports.
  7. Complete side work duty roster.
  8. Delivering meat to Western Sizzlin Steak House.

II. The following skills & aptitudes are necessary for this position

1. Must be able to read and follow directions & recipes.

2. Must have math skills to complete par worksheets.

3. Must be able to maintain & use a sharp knife.

III. What personality traits or temperament are required for this position?

1. Friendly, courteous and patient. An attitude of cooperation with customers, fellow coworkers and management.
