Description: POSITION: PACKER Shift: 3:00pm - 11:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Pay Rate: $20.00/Hr. Office #: 815-886-2300 PACKER JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of this role is to pack wire cables efficiently and accurately for shipment, ensuring they reach our customers in excellent condition. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to perform heavy lifting in a fast-paced environment. PACKER RESPONSIBILITIES: โ€ข Pack wire cables according to packing lists and customer orders with precision and care. โ€ข Ensure all packed items meet quality standards and are ready for shipment. โ€ข Safely handle and transport wire cables within the distribution center. โ€ข Utilize packaging materials efficiently to minimize waste and reduce costs. โ€ข Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive environment. โ€ข Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing quotas and deadlines. REQUIREMENTS: โ€ข Previous experience in packing or warehouse operations โ€ข Ability to lift heavy objects, including wire cables, on a regular basis. โ€ข Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing procedures. โ€ข Excellent organizational and time management skills. โ€ข Ability to work effectively in a team environment. โ€ข Willingness to always follow safety protocols and guidelines.
