Job description

We’re looking for a data-first MDM Developer who enjoys solving messy, real-world data problems—not just maintaining a single platform. You’ll work with 80+ suppliers, massive SKU volumes, and complex automotive data, helping transform inconsistent inputs into clean, usable product data that powers eCommerce and Salesforce.

This is a direct-hire position located in Irving, TX, offering Friday’s remote.

COMP: Up to $140K depending on candidate’s experience, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Design, build, and enhance MDM data pipelines supporting product and supplier data
  • Transform, cleanse, and load data from multiple supplier formats (XML and other industry standards)
  • Improve data before it enters MDM and optimize exports coming out of MDM for downstream systems
  • Partner with business teams (30–40% of your time) to understand data issues and requirements
  • Build scalable processes and ETL workflows to support eCommerce and Salesforce
  • Model complex product and fitment data to support automotive aftermarket use cases
  • Collaborate with Salesforce, ERP (iSeries), and SQL teams to ensure data consistency and usability
  • Introduce new approaches and best practices to improve data quality and efficiency

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering, MDM, or ETL development
  • Strong SQL Server skills (core to this role)
  • Automotive aftermarket or distribution experience required
  • Hands-on experience with any MDM platform (Stibo, Informatica, Oracle, or similar)
  • Solid background in data modeling and data transformation
  • Experience supporting eCommerce or distribution data
  • Understanding of integration layers and ETL tools (expert-level not required)
  • Azure Data Factory, EventHub, Data Lake, Databricks experience preferred
  • Experience in Salesforce data integrations preferred
  • Experience with complex product data models and fitment logic preferred
