What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an MDI (Manufacturing Development Engineer), and why are they important?

To thrive as a Manufacturing Development Engineer (MDI), you need a solid background in engineering principles, process optimization, and manufacturing systems, often supported by a degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering. Familiarity with CAD software, lean manufacturing methodologies, and quality control systems is typically required, along with certifications such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing. Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and an aptitude for teamwork help MDIs excel in cross-functional environments. These competencies are critical for improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

What are the most common challenges faced by Medical Doctors (MDs) in a clinical setting?

Medical Doctors (MDs) often encounter challenges such as balancing high patient volumes with the need to provide thorough, individualized care. They must also stay current with rapidly evolving medical knowledge and technologies, which requires ongoing education and adaptability. Additionally, MDs frequently collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, which can present communication and coordination challenges. Managing administrative responsibilities, such as electronic health records and insurance documentation, is another aspect that can impact workflow and time management.

What are MDIs (Metered Dose Inhalers)?

MDIs, or Metered Dose Inhalers, are handheld devices used to deliver precise doses of medication directly to the lungs, commonly used for treating asthma and other respiratory conditions. They work by releasing a measured amount of aerosolized medicine when the inhaler is pressed. MDIs are widely prescribed due to their portability and effectiveness in quickly relieving symptoms. Proper technique is important to ensure the medication is delivered correctly.

Experienced Painter MDI Management

MDI Management is seeking an Experienced Painter (As-Needed / Project-Based).

This role is on an as-needed basis, with hours varying according to property projects. You will focus on rehabbing and painting multi-family dwellings, including interiors of apartments, condos, and townhomes, after tenants move out and before new renters move in. Work will be scheduled around property needs, providing flexibility for both the company and the painter.

We are looking for someone with professional painting experience who takes pride in their work, follows industry best practices, and enjoys seeing projects completed beautifully and efficiently.

What Youll Do:

  • Paint interiors and selected exterior areas of multi-family properties, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, and baseboards
  • Prepare units for painting: patch holes, sand, prime, and perform minor repairs to ensure a professional finish
  • Protect surfaces and furnishings during every painting project, including flooring, cabinetry, lighting fixtures, and landscaping
  • Walk the property to identify areas that need painting or touch-ups, and maintain tidy work areas
  • Maintain all painting tools, brushes, rollers, and equipment in clean, working order
  • Assist with minor maintenance or prep work as needed, such as caulking, trim repair, or small carpentry tasks
  • Complete projects efficiently, meeting schedules for unit turns and renovations

Safety & Hazards:

  • Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety rules
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling paints, solvents, adhesives, and working at heights
  • Be aware of hazards including ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, sharp tools, and exposure to chemicals

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, standing, reaching, and stretching (~4050% of shift)
  • Bending, squatting, and kneeling (~3545% of shift)
  • Occasional climbing of ladders or elevated surfaces (~510% of shift)
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed

What Were Looking For:

  • 25+ years of professional painting experience, ideally in multi-family residential properties
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record
  • Ability to complete projects on time and to high standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently

Why Youll Love Working Here:

  • Focus on your craft, painting is your primary responsibility, not a side task
  • Full-time, stable schedule with competitive pay
  • Work with a supportive team that values quality, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Opportunities to grow your career within our property management team

Benefits:
Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, retirement options, and additional perks.

Part-time employees are eligible for sick leave and access to property amenities.
