What are MDIs (metered dose inhalers)?

MDIs, or Metered Dose Inhalers, are handheld devices used to deliver precise doses of medication directly to the lungs, commonly used for treating asthma and other respiratory conditions. They work by releasing a measured amount of aerosolized medicine when the inhaler is pressed. MDIs are widely prescribed due to their portability and effectiveness in quickly relieving symptoms. Proper technique is important to ensure the medication is delivered correctly.

What are the most common challenges faced by medical doctors (MDs) in a clinical setting?

Medical Doctors (MDs) often encounter challenges such as balancing high patient volumes with the need to provide thorough, individualized care. They must also stay current with rapidly evolving medical knowledge and technologies, which requires ongoing education and adaptability. Additionally, MDs frequently collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, which can present communication and coordination challenges. Managing administrative responsibilities, such as electronic health records and insurance documentation, is another aspect that can impact workflow and time management.
