About the role

Picture your week: you arrive on site, open the latest blueprints, and plan the dayโ€™s network cabling work across MDFs and data hall rows. You coordinate with stakeholders, verify that tasks align to industry standards and building codes, and then lead the hands-on installation and decommissioning of copper and fiber infrastructure. When issues threaten the timeline, you remove roadblocksโ€”quickly. You splice fiber, validate routes, and troubleshoot to keep the project moving. Then youโ€™re off to the next facilityโ€”this is a travel team role supporting multiple data centers.

What youโ€™ll do
  • Lead installation and decommissioning of network cabling infrastructure in data center environments.
  • Interpret blueprints and building documentation to plan and execute work.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align scope, sequencing, and change impacts.
  • Enforce adherence to applicable standards and building codes.
  • Proactively identify and remove issues that could delay project schedules.
  • Perform fusion splicing and copper/fiber termination activities.
  • Own troubleshooting across MDF and data hall connectivity.
