We think about the customer and make doing business with McCain easy.  McCain Foods is accepting applications for a Maintenance Planner position, to work a 8-hour day shift at the Burley, Idaho plant. This incumbent will provide maintenance planning and scheduling in the way of reviewing, researching, prioritizing, editing, and planning of non-emergency maintenance job tasks within CMMS – SAP (McCain’s Computerized Maintenance Management System).Accountabilities:Position is responsible for site implementation to include the training of all users – maintenance staff, stockroom staff, receiving, purchasing and key operational staff.Position will develop planning and schedule module and the subsequent planning positions.Position will develop KPI’s and provide reporting that will support plant improvement, maintenance efficiencies and reduction of downtime.Individual will assist department management in the planning and scheduling with coordination of planned shutdown work.Individual will work in partnership with the stockroom parts buyer to monitor delivery dates of parts and equipment to ensure timely delivery for scheduled jobs.Individual will provide pertinent communication with maintenance department personnel regarding the status of parts and equipment ordered, staged materials, and job costing.Assist, as needed, in the preparation of capital requests for expendituresCollect quotes from suppliersProvide estimated time and costs for planning purposesPrioritize and coordinate with supervisors the daily maintenance activities in assigned areas. Qualifications:Mechanical experience is a must.Experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling of maintenance to include preventive and predictive planning.Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, contractors and management.Good computer skills.Possess prior plant and code safety knowledge.Have knowledge and ability to read different types of drawings (i.e., equipment, P&ID, etc). Skills:Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and pressure constraints.Ability to remain calm under adverse circumstances.Creative problem solver.Skilled at recognizing potential areas for improvement.The benefits of working for McCain.Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Health, vision, and dental insurance401k with employer match HSA Adoption Assistance Infertility Assistance Education Reimbursement Assistance Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave  About McCain.At McCain, we’re feeding the world: from French fries to cakes, we contribute to the important role food plays in people's lives.
