BOLD ISD is seeking a skilled, student-centered Mathematics teacher to serve our high school students in grades 9 12. This educator will teach across multiple course levels - from foundational math through advanced coursework - and will play a key role in building student confidence, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate meets students where they are, fosters a classroom culture in which mistakes are learning opportunities, and communicates math in ways that connect to real-world applications.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess standards-aligned math instruction across assigned grade 9 12 courses
  • Establish a positive, growth-oriented classroom environment where all students can access rigorous content
  • Use data to inform instructional decisions and provide timely, meaningful feedback to students
  • Communicate proactively and regularly with students, families, and colleagues
  • Participate in PLCs, department collaboration, and school-wide professional development
  • Prepare students for state assessments (MCA, ACT) and post-secondary readiness
  • Explore opportunities to offer dual-credit or advanced coursework in partnership with post-secondary institutions
