Job Opportunity: Repair Specialist - Elevate Electronics Manufacturing with SMTC!

1st shift: 7am - 3:30pm

We're dedicated to excellence and innovation, and we're seeking an enthusiastic professional to contribute to our mission.


Key Responsibilities: Responsible for performing all tasks necessary to rework and repair PC Boards Complex rework such as removing and replacing IC’s. Have the knowledge to access company procedures and navigate shop floor controls.

  • Perform hand soldering by utilizing a microscope to remove, install, align and straighten parts
  • Have the ability to apply epoxy to PC Boards when applicable.
  • Have the ability to remove solder from gold plate, prepare for relating and replace.
  • Perform such other duties as assigned.
  • Understand schematic drawings and be able to follow procedures.
  • Should have either the MC Assembly soldering class, J-STD-001, or pre-employment soldering test.
  • Requires IPC-7711/7721 certification.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma preferred
  • Associate’s preferred in a technical field
  • Minimum 3 years in electronics industries involving repair and rework on printed circuit boards
  • Experience in multitasking, attention to detail is a must
