Job description

Senior Associate - Administrative

MBI, Inc., one of the nation's leading direct marketing companies, is looking to hire a Senior Associate in our Torrington location. We are a fulfillment operation tasked with receiving, inspecting, warehousing, packaging, and shipping products directly to customers.

Location: Torrington, CT

Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime during peak season

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Senior Associates work cross-functionally in several areas of our operation; our current need is for administrative/clerical support. This role will primarily be based on an office environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and reviewing production reports
  • Reviewing customer invoice packets for accuracy
  • Combining/kitting customer invoices with other documents and envelopes (document batching)
  • Working in our order management system to check details of specific customer orders and the program/product that will be shipped.
  • Assistance out on the floor with check-in/organization of customer packets is needed
  • May be assigned to other fulfillment departments like shipping, packaging, inspection, etc. on an as-needed basis

Skills:

  • Ability to handle many different tasks simultaneously and tasks which range in complexity
  • Works collaboratively within a team and throughout multiple areas of the fulfillment center
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adaptability for changing priorities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • The ideal candidate must be capable of using computer systems daily, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and is a quick learner at applicable use of our order management systems
  • Strong communicator, both written/email and verbal
  • Motivated, energetic, and dedicated to the highest standards of excellence
  • Previous experience handling customer invoices, shipping procedures and/or customer order workflows is a plus.
