Your role at Clorox:

The Project Manager (PM) provides end to end supply chain expertise and leadership within a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) to help plan and execute comprehensive product change initiatives. A PM works through strong linkages between the Supply Chain Organization (SC) and multiple cross-functional partners to ensure that the implementation of change efforts supports both the SBU and SC functional strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Provides functionalexpertiseand broad business input within brand/category business teams

  • Acts of the primary voice of allSCfunctions within the project team. Facilitates communication and coordination ofSCfunctional activities outside of team meetings.

  • Develops and recommends anend to endsupply chain execution strategy that delivers againstshort and long termrequirements of approved projectobjectives(i.e.start of ship, volume, Total Delivered Cost, supply risk, etc.).

  • Is accountable for the successful activation of projects through start of ship and technical transfer.

  • Provides leadership to ensure alignment between SBU andSCfunctionalobjectives.

  • Facilitates functional project reviews and communication plans toimpactedsupply chain sites and the greaterSupply Chainorganization.

  • ManagesSupply Chainimplementation of product change concepts

  • ProvidesSupply Chainlinkage and leadership on product changes to ensureappropriate speedto market.

  • Supports theSupply Chainfeasibility process for chartered work.

  • Ensures best in class supply execution, start of production/start of ship for new projects / promotions.

  • Acts as project manager for some projects, as assigned and depending on size & scope.

  • Identifies / recommends cost savings opportunities for assigned products/SBU.

  • Collaborates with business team members to develop personal capability beyond functionalSCexpert into business partner within the team.

  • Builds partnerships acrossSCsub-functions to deliver break through results.

  • Works withSupply ChainIntegration resources to synchronize project status and priorities across constrained resources.

  • Designs and executes best practice business processes to ensure effective and efficient use of Supply Chain Solutions resources.

  • Acts as a role model to ensure effective team dynamicsin order todeliver business priorities and determine /engage required resources.

  • Minimum:

  • 5 years' experience in a supply chain role

  • 2 years' experience with desktop & ERP applications

  • Experience with production/inventory control systems

  • Operations planning experience

  • Project management experience

  • People management experience

  • Experience with demand creation functions (i.e.interface with external customers, Marketing, Sales, and/or R&D).

-Zone A: $90,900 - $170,100

-Zone B: $83,400 - $155,900

-Zone C: $75,800 - $141,700
