Job description

Role Summary

  • Fundamental analysis of a specific industry or sector to identify investible ideas for various portfolio strategies. Responsible for looking at both primary and secondary transactions
  • Involves interviews of company executives and management teams, competitors, suppliers, etc., as well as industry experts and Wall Street analysts
  • Collaborate with other teams and Portfolio Managers via internal meetings
  • Includes possible travel and industry conference attendance
  • Culminates in a final verbal presentation aimed at communicating recommendations to investment professionals within the firm

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1st Year MBA scheduled to graduate in May 2026

Preferred:

  • Strong background in finance and accounting
  • Proficiency in working with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work
