Job description

About Maxx Builders
We're a Texas-based general contractor specializing inground-up commercial construction- from retail stores to convenience stores and restaurants. As a three-time Inc. 5000 honoree, we've built our reputation on speed, quality, and strong partnerships. We're now looking for aSuperintendentto lead site operations across Texas and help drive our next phase of growth.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for retail, restaurant, and other commercial projects
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and inspections to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Lead job site safety, subcontractor meetings, and project documentation
  • Maintain 3-week lookahead schedules using Microsoft Project
  • Resolve field-level issues and collaborate with PMs and leadership
  • Use Procore to manage daily logs, punch lists, and progress tracking

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience leading commercial construction projects (e.g., retail, QSR, C-stores, restaurants)
  • Procore, Microsoft Project, and blueprint reading proficiency
  • OSHA 30 certification (required)
  • High school diploma required; college preferred
  • Willing to travel within Texas
  • Comfortable leading field teams and doing hands-on work if needed
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
