Job description

MAX Aerostructures supplies the aircraft industry with parts from small to large, partnering from the beginning to manage the supply base and take care of each customer every step of the way.

We are currently seeking a Painter for our growing team!  This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to learn.

Job duties include:

  • Understand and have the skill set to operate the paint equipment.
  • General knowledge of the customer painting specifications that apply.
  • Wear and understand the proper PPE that is required for operation of the paint line
  • Understand and abide by the qualify policy for Max Aerostructures
  • Able to determine mixing requirements, zahn requirements and all other paint prep requirements
  • Capable of determining part readiness for paint and painting guidelines
  • Responsible for reviewing the paint line daily ensuring all calibration is up to date as well as the manometers an filter systems are functioning properly
  • Understand how to set up parts for paint operations.
  • Ensure that a quality product is being produced by the paint line and that it is in accordance with the customers specification where requirements are flowed down through work orders and procedures.
  • Generally trained on all other operations of the processing facility for additional resources in other areas when needed.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, operate process equipment, and be quality oriented
