MATLAB Software Developer (Signal Processing & Test Automation) --> Part Time


This position is "On-Site" only. Please do not apply if you are looking for Remote or Hybrid work.


Responsibilities

We are seeking a Part Time MATLAB Software Developer with a strong background in electronics engineering, MATLAB GUI development, and test automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will take ownership of an existing MATLAB-based software project, enhance current functionality, develop new test cases, and update GUI components to support evolving testing requirements.


Qualifications

Strong proficiency in MATLAB programming.

Experience developing and maintaining MATLAB GUIs (App Designer and/or GUIDE).

Hands-on experience with:

MATLAB Signal Processing Toolbox

MATLAB Instrument Control Toolbox

Background in Electronics Engineering or a related field.


Experience operating and interfacing with laboratory instruments such as:

Oscilloscopes

Signal generators

Spectrum analyzers

Data acquisition systems

Power supplies

Understanding of electronic circuits and hardware testing methodologies.

Ability to quickly understand and continue development on existing software projects.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automated test systems and test framework development. Familiarity with serial, USB, GPIB, Ethernet, and other instrument communication protocols. Knowledge of embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
