In this role, you'll be expected to follow all OZ Lifting Products procedures and safety guidelines while helping us deliver the dependable products we're known for.
What you'll be doing: Your day will include a variety of tasks such as rigging, testing, and inspecting imported products, as well as assembling, inspecting, and testing products made here in the U.S. You may also help with inspecting and repairing customer equipment, loading and unloading materials, packing and unpacking, auditing, general housekeeping, kitting, inbound processing, shipping and receiving, put-away, data entry into our inventory system, and inventory control.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent, trade school or military a plus.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of company's products and services, safety, and OSHA requirements.
  • Must have a basic understanding of mechanical systems and be able to accurately read a tape measure and/or digital micrometer.
  • Must have an ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
  • Must have good organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Must have excellent math and reading skills, overall PC literacy is required.
  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be a positive team member. Be respectful to your co-workers. Have a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50 lbs. to a height of 72".
  • Must be capable of standing for up to 8 hours in an 8-hour workday.
  • Must be capable of bending, twisting, and walking without restrictions.
