Summer Math Academy - Teacher - Mathematics 25-26 SY  In-Person


Dates:             Session 1:        June  1, 2026 to June 12, 2026


                        Session 2:       June 15, 2026 to June 26, 2026


Times:             7:30am -   1:00pm (Staff)

                         7:45am - 12:34pm (Students)


Stipend:          $2,100 Per Session




Position Summary:  An individual must be able to perform the essential teaching job functions satisfactorily as follows:

  • Prepare instruction and age-appropriate activities for students
  • Set up room for teaching and/or activities; ensure cleanup
  • Facilitate instruction and activities
  • Participate in planning meetings with other Instructors and Support Staff as needed
  • Communicate with parents as needed
  • Provide direct supervision to students participating in program
  • Temporary position which is based on student enrollment numbers
  •  

These job functions would be performed with or without reasonable accommodation, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).   Current TUHSD teachers/certificated staff preferred; however, not required.
 


Licensing/Certification Requirements:

  • Secondary Teaching Certificate with the approved area of Mathematics.
