Operating in a stunning and historic 12,000-square-foot home, Camel Club offers a first class experience, serving as an invaluable asset in our members’ lives. This is possible through offerings of eclectic food, libations and elevated service practices to create luxurious experiences.

Camel Club is a modern and ambitious company, aiming to change the norms of hospitality, both in service and work. We are looking for driven and enthusiastic team members who prefer set schedules (guaranteed hours), benefits and pay structure; and are tired of the feast or famine status so many professionals in the field face today.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The host/concierge team is responsible for ensuring that all Member activities, services and dining times are booked and expectations met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Follow all Camel Club policies and procedures, including standards for quality, timing, payment processing, attendance and appearance.
  • Follow all Camel Club safety protocols, including appropriate use of chemicals, Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Data Sheets.
  • Thoroughly check work and public areas for tidiness, general maintenance and ensuring all are corrected/reported immediately.

· Detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Completes bookings for activities, services and dining times.
  • Contact point for Members prior to arrival, to inform of special happening during their visit and answer any questions they may have.
  • Gathers/tracks Member information and preferences by maintaining database.
  • Creates unique memorable experiences for our Members.
  • Reviews system/software notes and confirms information with other departments.
  • Audit amenity bookings to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicates accurate Member information & preferences to other team members & departments.
  • Monitors website content to ensure accurate even information is posted
  • Maintain knowledge of Camel Club services and offerings.
  • Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership.

· Assist service staff with routine duties such as pouring beverages, clearing dishes, setting tables, etc.

  • Assist with special cleaning projects.
  • Attend daily Staff Meetings / Group Meetings / Development Meetings.
  • Polishing glassware and silverware.
  • Crumbing chairs.
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and common spaces.
  • Performing routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
  • Maintaining “the look” of the space.
  • Understanding menu and food terminology.
  • Attentive to all Team Members, assisting all positions as necessary.
  • Knowledge of all menus offered.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort or fine dining restaurant preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Kentucky Food Handlers Certificate or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Aptitude and ability to use a restaurant Point of Sale (POS) system successfully and accurately.
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers and team members.
  • Must have excellent verbal & written communication skills.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of math.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to sit or stand at a computer for long periods of time
