THRIVE Academy is a Trauma-Informed, Therapeutic school serving students in grades K–12 from 27+ partner districts across Iowa. What We're Looking For
  • A patient, flexible, and student-centered educator.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn trauma-informed instructional practices.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and meet students where they are academically.
  • Commitment to building a classroom culture grounded in respect, consistency, and support.
  • A team player who values collaboration with teachers, paras, and student support staff.
Certification Requirements
  • Iowa Teaching License
  • 5–12 Mathematics Endorsement
Why THRIVE Academy?
  • Small class sizes with embedded classroom support
  • A highly collaborative, relationship-driven team culture
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference for students who need it most
  • Ongoing professional development in trauma-informed and therapeutic practices
  • A school environment that values growth, resilience, and belonging

At THRIVE Academy, teaching math means helping students rebuild confidence, discover their strengths, and believe they can succeed-both in school and in life.
