Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify their specific mental health needs, which may involve tools like standardized questionnaires and structured interviews.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may incorporate cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and other evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s goals.
  • Provide ongoing therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing both teletherapy platforms and in-person engagement as needed.
  • Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment strategies based on feedback and emerging needs, ensuring a responsive approach to care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and treatment plans using secure electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and community support networks, to provide a holistic approach to client care.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of practice, ensuring client confidentiality and professional integrity.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with postpartum individuals and families who are dealing with a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
  • Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in Pennsylvania:
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a therapy setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.
  • Ability to engage in both independent and collaborative work environments.
  • A strong understanding of current best practices in mental health treatment methodologies.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience working specifically with maternal mental health issues, including postpartum depression and anxiety. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques will be advantageous, enhancing your ability to connect effectively with clients remotely.

Compensation and Benefits
