As part of a vibrant community health clinic network, you will connect with colleagues through virtual platforms, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in regular case consultations, all to ensure that our clients receive the most comprehensive care possible, regardless of their location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment strategies in response to evolving challenges or improvements.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely records of sessions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and best practices in documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow mental health professionals, working towards a cohesive and multidisciplinary treatment approach.
  • Adhere strictly to ethical codes and legal standards, protecting client confidentiality and fostering a safe therapeutic environment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily serve maternal clients, including new mothers, expectant mothers, and their families. This role requires sensitivity and insight into the unique emotional and psychological challenges faced during the perinatal period. You will be instrumental in addressing issues such as postpartum depression, anxiety disorders, and relationship stresses related to parenting.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Active licensure in Texas as any of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing therapeutic services in a mental health setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills paired with strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • A demonstrated ability to work autonomously while also being an effective team collaborator.
  • An in-depth understanding of evidence-based treatment methodologies applicable to maternal mental health.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with clients during the perinatal period, understanding the specific challenges they face, will be greatly valued. Familiarity with teletherapy modalities and comfort with digital communication tools will also enhance your efficacy in this role.
