This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, engaging with clients via teletherapy platforms designed for secure and confidential interactions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed assessments to thoroughly understand the mental health needs of clients and their families.
• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that align with clients' individual goals and aspirations.
• Providing therapeutic interventions for a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, and solution-focused interventions.
• Regularly monitoring and evaluating client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment strategies, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborating with fellow mental health professionals to create a cohesive network of care that enhances client outcomes and experiences.
• Adhering to ethical and legal standards in all mental health practices, embodying professionalism and respect in client interactions.

Your primary focus will be working with postpartum women, addressing the mental health challenges that can arise during this period, such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and emotional adjustment issues. You will also engage with their partners and families, offering a holistic approach to mental wellness that recognizes the interconnectedness of family dynamics and individual health.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant therapy experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A deep understanding of evidence-based mental health treatment methodologies and an ability to implement them in practice.

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience working within maternal mental health or related fields will find their skills well-suited for this role. Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital therapeutic tools is also preferred to streamline client interactions and enhance care delivery.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
