Job Description
The Maternal-Fetal Medicine department is located at the St. Cloud Hospital and is now hiring a Medical Secretary Lead to assist with clinic functions.
Serves as a resource and leader for team members and fosters the development of the team to provide effective communication and efficient operations. Coordinates day to day functions Medical Secretary work. Utilizes a variety of computer software for word processing, financial management, and maintenance of database(s). Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers.
  • Schedule
    • Full-time | 64 hours per 2-week pay period | Onsite
    • Days | 8:00am - 4:30pm | Monday through Friday
  • Pay
    • Pay starts at $20.71/hr and increases with experience
    • Pay range: $20.71 - $31.06
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Post high school secretarial training program including training in word processing and knowledge of the database function required.
  • 3 years medical secretary experience
  • Medical terminology, experience in a medical office or hospital setting, and background in Epic EMR, billing and coding
