Job description

Summer Interns at imi will be fully immersed in the business unit to which they will be reporting. All interns will be given the opportunity to job shadow, work under direct supervision, and work independently within their business unit. Interns will also be provided "Field Trip" opportunities throughout the summer to learn more about the broader imi business, and Interns will also be responsible for completing a summer internship project.
  • The primary responsibility for Interns will be to actively participate in all phases of the Intern experience; including job shadowing, supervised work, and independent work experiences. Active participation in these opportunities will be the best way for Interns to maximize their learning experience through the course of the internship.
  • Interns will be expected to report to work on time every day at their assigned work location. Intern will be required to supply their own reliable transportation to the assigned internship location
  • Interns will be expected to participate in any and all "Field Trip" opportunities. These opportunities are designed to broaden an Intern's understanding of the many aspects of imi's business which we believe will help the Intern be more successful in their assigned business unit.
  • Interns will be responsible for completing a small summer project in which they will propose at least one area in which imi could improve the business. Interns will be required to present their project to a panel of Executives and other leaders within the company.

Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in a post-secondary education program at an accredited institution.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and must be able to commit to being at work every day throughout the course of the summer of 2024.
  • Must have completed sophomore year of college and must have completed at least one year of coursework specific to declared major.
  • Experience using Google Suite of applications is a plus.
  • Could vary depending on the business unit in which the Intern is assigned.
