In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.
The impact you'll make
As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects - you're orchestrating breakthroughs in support of enabling Lam's technology leadership through strategic product delivery and continuous innovation. You'll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.In this role, you will directly contribute to The Deposition Group.
What you'll do
  • Scope and execute project requests and provide support to upstream and downstream partners for the furtherance of projects for the Product Option Architecture (POA).
  • Provide end item creation and bill of materials maintenance.
  • Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Provide support to teams needing subject matter expertise for POA.
  • Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meet business requirements on time and within budget.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects from inception to impactful results.
  • Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve processes and inspire alignment.

Who we're looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience; or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the company.

Preferred qualifications
  • Knowledge of change management methodologies is required.
  • CAD experience, particularly with CREO and Teamcenter, is a bonus.
  • SAP experience or familiarity with another ERP system is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools, including MS Project, QuickBase, Visio, Planner, MS Teams, or equivalent, is essential.
  • Knowledge of program management methods and experience in product development and release (PDR) procedures is necessary. Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 are required.
  • Experience in or knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, semiconductor equipment operations, or related industries is a plus. Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is also a plus.
