Job description

DecisionPoint seeks a Program Manager to provide leadership, oversight, and delivery management for Global Information Technology Support Services supporting the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) Deputy Chief of Staff for Information Management (G6). This position is responsible for managing contractor personnel, coordinating task execution, maintaining performance standards, and serving as the primary authorized point of contact for the Government Contracting Officerโ€™s Representative (COR). 

The Program Manager will oversee enterprise IT services across multiple functional areas, including cybersecurity, customer support, systems administration, network infrastructure, VTC/multimedia support, database administration, and web support. The role requires strong experience leading DoD IT services contracts, managing geographically dispersed teams, ensuring contract deliverables are completed on schedule, and supporting mission continuity across CONUS and OCONUS environments. 

This position is located at HQ SDDC, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

The Program Manager will: 

  • Serve as the primary authorized point of contact for the Government COR and interface regularly with Government management personnel. 
  • Provide overall program management for contractor personnel performing work across all PWS task areas. 
  • Manage staffing, onboarding, scheduling, performance coordination, and workforce availability across the task order. 
  • Formulate, implement, and enforce work standards to ensure contract performance aligns with Government requirements and mission priorities. 
  • Assign schedules and coordinate resources to ensure timely completion of tasks, deliverables, milestones, and surge support requirements. 
  • Oversee preparation, submission, and maintenance of required contract deliverables, including the Task Order Management Plan, Monthly Status Reports, In-Process Review materials, trip reports, meeting minutes, and Employee Status Reports. 
  • Monitor task order performance, identify issues or problem areas, and coordinate timely corrective actions with technical leads and Government stakeholders. 
  • Notify the Government of missed milestones within required timelines and support development of Plans of Action and Milestones. 
  • Review work discrepancies and coordinate resolution with contractor leads, technical staff, the COR, KO, or other Government representatives as appropriate. 
  • Communicate contract objectives, policies, priorities, and organizational goals to subordinate personnel and task leads. 
  • Coordinate with technical leads across cybersecurity, help desk, systems administration, network operations, VTC, web, and other support functions to ensure integrated service delivery. 
  • Support quarterly In-Process Reviews by summarizing task order status, progress, concerns, recommendations, and performance trends. 
  • Ensure personnel maintain required availability, access, clearance, certification, and training compliance throughout the period of performance. 
  • Support transition-in, transition-out, continuity of operations, and knowledge transfer activities to minimize disruption to SDDC mission operations. 
  • Ensure contract activities comply with applicable DoD, Army, USTRANSCOM, SDDC, security, information assurance, and operational requirements. 

Clearance Requirement:  

  • Must hold an active Secret clearance. 
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required Common Access Card (CAC), facility access, system access, and Government network access. 

Education: 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Program Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
