Job Summary:

The Inventory Coordinator manages and monitors parts and/materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency, which involves tasks like conducting physical and cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and managing data entry into inventory software. This role requires strong organizational and analytical skills to collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, and to maintain organized storage areas.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inventory management: Oversee and manage all company product and material inventory levels to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Audits and counts: Perform and coordinate physical and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Data and reporting: Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports on stock levels, usage, and demand.
  • Discrepancy resolution: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvements to optimize inventory control.
  • Coordination: Work with production, purchasing, sales, and other teams to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained and to facilitate efficient product flow.
  • Receiving and shipping: Coordinate the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory, which may include checking incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders.
