Job description

Starting at $17.36/hr ($18.36/hr on nights)

  • Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
  • Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
  • Operate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
  • Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.
  • Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing for processing.
  • Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Filling requisitions of stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Positions are on1st Shift Monday - Friday 5am - 1:30pm & 2nd Shift Sunday - Thursday (2:00pm - 10:30pm), or until work is completed. The individual will work a 5 day work week, days of work may vary dependent on distribution demands. Hours listed are general hours and may be altered as needed. Additional hours may be required to fulfill job duties and position expectations.

Required Education and Experience

  • Have Current Fork Lift Certification
  • Have experience in team work and leadership.
  • Be energetic with a positive outlook with a can-do attitude is a must.
  • Have strong customer service and good communication
  • Be able to pick up 50lbs
  • Be well organized, trustworthy, and reliable.
  • Good attendance and self-motivation
