Department: Supply Chain Management

Location: SMC
Description
FII USA, Inc., a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking a Material Planner to generate and present weekly reports on material shortages and review and analyze BOM costs on a quarterly basis. Once a part of the team, you will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the Supply Chain Management Department in an office environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.
The Material Planner will manage inventory levels to align with business needs and financial goals, coordinate materials quotation activities to meet deadlines, and assist this Supply Chain Management Department as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Generate and present weekly reports on material shortages to the team for timely resolution
  • Review and analyze BOM costs on a quarterly basis to manage expenses effectively
  • Conduct bi-monthly reviews of E&O inventory to mitigate financial impact
  • Prepare and maintain reports on project liabilities related to costs and materials
  • Oversee and manage inventory levels to align with business needs and financial goals
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability of various reports including CTB, DNS, Commit reports, and PPV
  • Manage all materials-related activities for the assigned programs
  • Coordinate materials pipelining to ensure a smooth transition of materials
  • Manage and communicate all material requirements to internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Drive timely delivery of materials to meet customer and production schedules
  • Support PPV and ECO management to ensure cost-effective and timely implementation
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and basic computer skills required
  • Experience using SAP MRP system preferred
  • Bilingual in Mandarin preferred
