We are looking to hire Logistics & Material Handler to join our team at Foley - AL site.
Work shift: First Shift (Monday - Friday) with ability to work night, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts as needed.
What You Will Do
  • Responsible for the loading and unloading of parts and finished goods from various trucks and shipping vehicles.
  • Plan, schedule and manage the efficient movement of material from production to outbound staging area.
  • Operates forklift and crane to load and/or unload OEM inventory, supplies and containers both
  • Daily operator level inspection of equipment
  • Manage/maintain end item shipping container fleet
  • Deliver items to designated areas when applicable.
  • Label and load material according to established procedures.
  • Ensure the completed paperwork relating to the shipment of goods are in place.
  • Validate Custom Import documents for containerized inbound conveyances
  • Organize materials for quality inspections as applicable before shipment.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes
  • This work will need to bend, stoop, stand kneel for 8 hours per day and 35 pounds repetitively with or without accommodations and meet other physical requirements.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have 2+ years of forklift experience or other industrial equipment.
  • Experience in using basic power hand tools.
  • Experience with basic office administration skills such as typing, copying, filing, and utilizing Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Working knowledge of inventory processes such as parts flow, FIFO, JIT, Kanbans.
  • Must be able to work night, weekends, holidays and rotating shifts

  • Work Experience in SAP systems and transaction.
  • Self-directed & action oriented with the minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate time, priority and stress management skills in a fast-paced environment meeting deadlines while maintaining a customer-orientated demeanor
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.

The salary range for this role is 43,400 USD - 82,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
