WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Lead and facilitate daily and strategic management as the Materials Management leader
  • Provide adequate resources, ongoing work direction, and problem solving to ensure business goals are met
  • Drive and lead a continuous improvement culture by involving employees in problem solving and decision making as well as recognizing them for exceptional work
  • Be highly visible to associates and promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem solving in support of the Materials function
  • Develop, coach and implement Materials Management methodologies in line with nVent's Lean mindset to drive sustained improvements in velocity and inventory accuracy
  • Lead transformational projects that improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, and Cash

YOU HAVE:
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ideally 3+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to present and influence views in a clear and compelling manner
  • Efficiently operate computer programs including Microsoft Office
  • Clearly demonstrate understanding of Lean Manufacturing mindset
  • Change Management with the knowledge of process improvement concepts and methods, along with the flexibility and adaptability to accept, support, and deploy new processes in a changing business environment
  • Function in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment, with a positive attitude
  • Rotate between an office and plant floor seamlessly
