Material Handler

Location: Minden, NV 89423
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Job Type: Contract (1-Year Assignment)
Schedule: 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday (OT available on nights and
weekends)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join a manufacturing team in Minden, NV. This role is responsible for supporting production operations through material movement, inventory handling, shipping/receiving activities, and maintaining accurate records within SAP. The ideal candidate has prior material handling experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Use production orders to pull parts and materials for manufacturing operations
  • Package materials and products according to established work instructions
  • Move raw materials and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility using carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
  • Load and unload trucks at the shipping and receiving dock
  • Receive materials into SAP and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Inspect incoming raw materials and finished goods for quality and accuracy
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
  • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines at all times

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move objects up to 40 pounds on a consistent basis
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Shipping and receiving experience
  • Inventory control and material tracking knowledge
  • Familiarity with pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
