Material Handler

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely loading and unloading of materials and products in a fast-paced distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for material handling.
  • Build pallets and organize products for efficient storage and transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with OSHA regulations.
  • Load, unload, and stack pallets manually or with equipment.
  • Inspect pallets for damage and repair or recycle as needed.
  • Maneuver pallets and goods across facility.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in inventory management and quality control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards related to warehouse operations.
  • Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or distribution center setting.
