Job Description and Responsibilities

We're hiring Material Handlers to support our production team and help keep the line running smoothly. In this role, you'll handle materials, inspect components, and maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety and quality procedures. This is a hands-on position for someone who works well in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in doing solid, dependable work.

Interpro Pipe and Steel is committed to maintaining and promoting a safe, healthy and injury-free environment. It is required for all jobs.

  • Apply thread compound to coupling threads and pipe threads
  • Apply plastic thread protectors
  • Use gauge to inspect couplings
  • Measure distances with a ruler
  • Keep work station full of supplies
  • Sweep, pressure wash and keep work station clean
  • Grease equipment and assist maintenance as needed
  • Follow policies and procedures for Safety and Quality

Requirements

  • High School diploma
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to Follow work instructions to ensure Safety and Quality standards
  • Ability to perform repetitive work
  • Ability to work shift work (12 hour days and nights)
