CRC Material Handler Associate

The CRC Material Handler Associate will perform material handling operations associated with Clean and Repair part operations. They will interact with Fab Engineering, Vendors and other CRC personnel in addition to parts management systems for tracking and processing part transactions.

Role and Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • Track and monitor system(s) for in-coming parts from Spare Parts. Manage equipment parts for transport.
  • Maintain part quality by practicing proper part handling skills. Reduce downtime and stop-loss.
  • Communicate and escalation of system and part issue.
  • PDA and EMS utilization.
  • Track, maintain and communicate on problem resolutions. 6S, abnormality tracking. Continuous Improvement.
  • Work hours: D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.
Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • High School and +1 year work experience in a professional environment.
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or skilled trade environments preferred.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent military or work related experience desired.
  • Previous experience with parts handling and inventory control.
  • Clear written and verbal communication is a requirement.
  • Detail oriented and willing to be flexible in working hours.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Willing to work overtime or non-scheduled days as needed.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is required.
  • Knowledgeable in Excel, Word and Share Point.
  • Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
  • High level of initiative and desire to learn.
  • Detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, team work and flexibility.
  • Ability to meet due dates for action items.

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
