Shipper/Receive Clerk

Shift hours are 8am-4:30pm (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)

Workers can start as soon as the drug test results are in and the background is processing. PLEASE SUBMIT CANDIDATES THAT CAN START IMMEDIATELY. Eaton's Electrical sector is hiring a Shipper/Receive Clerk. This position is located in Fontana, CA.

Primary Function: Receive and put away incoming material. Perform shipping duties necessary to deliver material to customer in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies and finished goods
  • Load and unload trailers as required
  • Put away product in designated locations
  • Pick and pull stock for delivery
  • Process UPS / FEDEX orders
  • Process incoming orders and returned materials in WMS / SAP Systems
  • Process shipping labels in WMS / SAP Systems
  • Wrap pallets utilizing stretch wrap machine
  • Perform will call service
  • Audit outgoing material
  • Replenish locations for shipments utilizing LXE guns
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
  • Participate in site required training
  • Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
  • Follow detailed instructions and communicate specific directions to others
  • Able to push, pull, lift up to 45 pounds
  • Walking and standing up to 90% of the time which may include daily and weekend overtime
  • Physically able to drive forklift and operate industrial equipment
  • Other duties as assigned by management
