How You'll Make an Impact
The Material Handler is primarily responsible for processing shipping transactions by creating documents and product labels and receiving product deliveries from vendors and customers. When needed, they will assist the packaging department by labeling, packaging, and bagging products for final shipment.
  • Prepare shipping documents and product labels.
  • Prepare finished goods products for final shipment by verifying that information on internal document is correct, properly labeled, and in correct packaging and box/bag size.
  • Accurately complete shipping documentation and data entries within the ERP system.
  • Manage finished goods inventory and overstock items.
  • Receive incoming deliveries and prepare associated paperwork and ERP entries.
  • Understand and follow the SOPs pertaining to the specific area.
  • Understand and follow the work instructions pertaining to the specific area.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous shipping and receiving experience including familiarity with UPS and FedEx systems
  • Experience moving pallets and drums with a forklift
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Preferred Qualifications that Drive you Forward
  • Experience in a medical device company.
  • Experience with QAD or other ERP system
