We are growing and in need of a Dispatcher for our 711 Materials, Inc. Facility.

The Dispatcher coordinates scheduling and dispatching deliveries to meet customer needs, production limits, and deadlines. This role serves as the primary communication link among customers, drivers, batch plants, and operations, ensuring accurate, timely orders and strong customer service. The Dispatcher manages competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail, clear communication, and adherence to safety, quality, and company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and dispatching drivers daily to appropriate locations according to predetermined schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
  • Relaying information such as work orders or other messages to and from work crews, field inspectors, supervisors, or emergency personnel.
  • Using telephones, two-way radios, or text messages to contact employees or other personnel.
  • Speaking with supervisors or customers to resolve problems, requests for services, or equipment.
  • Overseeing communications within company-assigned territories.
  • Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, and completed work requests.
  • Tracking truck and trailer needs by various locations and load types.

Skills Required:

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external drivers and customers.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects utilizing organizational skills and communications skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility regarding timely and accurate completion of work, and a strong commitment to corporate goals.
  • Must be capable of functioning in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent clerical and organizational skills to keep track of schedules, routes, and personnel.
