Job description

Job Position Summary: Responsible for overseeing various aspects of the production process, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting company monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. This includes scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring part movements and maintaining accurate records.

You must have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Strong attention to details
  • Organizational skills. 
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office 
  • Time Management Skills 
  • Ability to multi-task, and pivot from one task to another
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally. 
  • Ability to read and interrupt work instructions to follow through and complete task.
  • Ability to become Forklift certified.
  • Ability to work ½ day Saturdays 2-3 times per month 

In your role, you will:

  • Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required. 
  • Release and coordinate travelers’ documents to ensure on time start. 
  • Assist in monitoring, modifying, and releasing work orders, 
  • Assist in Developing an integrated schedule for all operations, using ERP system.
  • Assist in the Distribution of raw material to appropriate shop departments and control inventory.
  • Coordinates movement of parts throughout shop to ensure on-time start. 
  • Facilitating communication between different departments
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, production and others involved with incoming product.
  • Provides additional backup support for receiving/shipping and purchasing.
  • Maintains a clean organized work area.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust, and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts.
  • May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must have ability to read applicable customer documents with or without corrective lenses.
  • May have to lift up to thirty (30) pounds at a time, as required.
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.

6am - 4pm - Mon - Fri and 2-3 1/2 days Saturdays a month.
