Job description

MUST BE LICENSED AS A BRANCH 3 TERMITE INSPECTOR

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and licensed Branch 3 Termite Inspector to perform residential inspections, prepare detailed reports and estimates, support project execution, and help develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, knowledgeable in termite and wood-destroying organism inspections, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in both field and office environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Branch 3 Termite Inspector License (required)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prepare accurate inspection reports and estimates
  • Knowledge of termite and wood-destroying organism inspections and treatments
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Basic computer and documentation skills

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProfessionalism & Reliability

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Report to work consistently and punctually.
  • Remain productive during scheduled work hours.
  • Strive to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Maintain company property and equipment in good working condition.
  • Repair or report any equipment damaged through employee use.
  • Maintain and wash company-issued vehicles as needed. Company vehicles are a privilege and must be cared for responsibly.

Inspections & Reporting

  • Conduct termite and wood-destroying organism inspections for residential and commercial properties.
  • Prepare accurate, detailed inspection reports.
  • Take photographs of all findings and areas of concern.
  • Proofread reports prior to delivery to clients.
  • Provide estimates for all recommended or required work.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including:
  • Inspection reports
  • Estimates
  • Monthly sales reports
  • Other company-required paperwork

Project Coordination

  • Create and provide material lists at the start of each project.
  • Ensure special-order materials and tools are ordered in a timely manner to prevent project delays.
  • Provide crews with all necessary materials and equipment listed on work orders.
  • Visit job sites before work begins to review project requirements.
  • When possible, attend the first day of each project to review materials and scope of work with crew members.
  • Conduct periodic job-site visits on multi-day projects to ensure work is performed according to company standards and customer agreements.

Business Development & Customer Relations

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, crew members, and office staff.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company services.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and skills to provide accurate recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents and referral partners.
  • Participate in marketing and business development efforts to generate new opportunities.

Organization & Administrative Duties

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Keep inspection vehicles stocked with necessary forms, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure all paperwork and records are completed accurately and submitted on time.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to inspect crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas.
  • Ability to climb ladders and navigate uneven terrain.
  • Ability to lift and carry inspection equipment and materials as needed.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
