Job description

Inventory Control Associate II
We are hiring an Inventory Control Associate for a leading manufacturing company located in the Northborough, MA, area.
In this role, you will:
  • Asist the Inventory Control team’s activities in accordance with procedures.
  • Assist in reconciliation of discrepancies found through the cycle count and bin audits.
  • Assist with Root Cause Analysis and makes suggestions to fix and mitigate inventory control issues.
  • Actively participate in data gathering exercises and makes process improvement recommendations to leadership.
Responsibilities:
  • Conducts cycle counts daily, according to Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Executes bin audits daily in accordance with provided schedule.
  • Utilizes Epicor and Omnify to retrieve and store data pertaining to inventory control.
  • Assists in the investigation and reconciliation of cycle count and bin audit discrepancies.
  • Maintains inventory areas by utilizing and promoting efficient material handling practices.
  • Files cycle count records so that they can be reviewed by management.
  • Reconciles inventory discrepancies, escalating to leadership as appropriate.
  • Assists in the development and implementation processes that will enhance inventory control.
  • Assists Team Lead in collecting data.
  • Records and tracks all inventory adjustments.
  • At the direction of leadership, participates in special projects relevant to warehouse activities.
  • Actively seeks to improve overall understanding of warehouse activities.
  • Maintains working knowledge of all tasks of the Inventory Control Team.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years’ experience in an investigative or reconciliation role related to inventory.
  • Good math skills and intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Previous experience with Epicor or other WMS/ERP required.
  • Effective problem solver.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to comprehend complex written material and instructions.

Working Environment:
  • Approximately 90% of the work is performed in warehouse area. The remaining time will be spent in office.

Physical Requirements:
  • While performing the duties of the job, the associate is regularly required to stand for an extended amount of time, walk and reach with hands and arms.

Pay Rate Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
