Job description

Seeking an experienced matchmaker for an ongoing, part-time contract engagement.

This is flexible, independent work — sourcing and introducing prospective matches for our clients. You'd draw on your own network and judgment rather than a company database. Ideal for a professional matchmaker or exceptionally well-connected individual who values discretion and a direct relationship with our team.

The focus of this role is sourcing and networking: actively identifying and connecting with high-quality prospective matches through your own contacts and outreach. Role does not include building a client base.

Responsibilities

● Source and build a network of high-quality prospective matches through social, professional, philanthropic, and wellness circles, and active outreach beyond any existing database.

● Assess prospective matches against client preferences and criteria — age, lifestyle, values, and interests — to identify genuine fits.

● Approach and engage prospects thoughtfully and discreetly, gauging genuine interest and openness.

● Present vetted prospects and help coordinate introductions.

● Incorporate feedback to continually refine the search and improve match quality.

Qualifications

● A strong personal network in Orange County (contacts in Los Angeles a plus) — the most important qualification.

● Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills.

● Strong judgment in assessing compatibility and fit.

● A firm commitment to discretion and confidentiality.

● Background in matchmaking, recruiting, event/community networking, or a similar relationship-driven role preferred.

Terms: Independent contractor, flexible and part-time, with room to grow for the right person.
