Job description

Recovery Works‐PA, a DDAP licensed outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center in Drexel Hill, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with addiction medicine experience or training. This part‐time position includes providing outpatient medication services and assisting in the development and expansion of our Medication‐Assisted Treatment (MAT) program.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct medical assessments and follow‐up visits for clients in substance use treatment

  • Provide medication management, including MAT (e.g., buprenorphine)

  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and leadership

  • Assist in developing MAT protocols, workflows, and documentation

  • Educate clients on medications, safety, and treatment expectations

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

Qualifications

  • Current PA‐C or CRNP license in Pennsylvania

  • DEA license 

  • Experience or training in addiction medicine 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to trauma‐informed, client‐centered care
