Job description

$5000 Signing Bonus

General Statement:
Under the direct clinical supervision of a fully licensed Psychologist and/or Neuropsychologist and the administrative direction of the Program Director or designee, the Psychometrician administers and scores
neuropsychological, psychological, developmental and behavioral test batteries. The Psychometrician completes test scoring, the use of normative tables, and the writing of accurate, timely reports and integrated summaries of test results. The majority of work will take place in a clinic based setting, working with children, adolescents, teens and families.
Minimum Requirements:
Masters in Psychology with the Michigan Limited License Psychologist (LLP) credential AND at least one (1) year experience in the examination, evaluation AND treatment of children, adolescents, and/or teens with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or social-emotional disorders. Will consider a candidate with a Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP) credential. The employee with a TLLP must make application for LLP upon completion of 2000 hours in order to retain employment. All Master’s level psychologists must take and pass the Examination for Professional Practice within four (4) years of hire to retain employment.
Employee must maintain valid State of Michigan Psychology licensure to retain employment.
Additional Requirements:
Must retain Michigan Department of Health and Human Services provider Medicaid services qualifications as a Child Mental Health Professional and a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional.
Must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and the use of a vehicle during work hours.

Essential Physical Demands:

  • Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Lifting, Standing, and Walking With or Without Reasonable Accommodations:
    • Position requires the ability to lift up to 35lbs on an occasional basis
    • Position requires the ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time
    • Position requires the ability to walk at a minimum of 35% up to a maximum of 65%
  • Position will require the ability to occasionally stoop, bend, or reach to perform work tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Position must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including the use of hands and fingers for handling, grasping, typing, writing, or operating equipment with or without reasonable accommodation.
    Preferences:
    Prior experience conducting neuropsychological testing with children, adolescents, and/or teens.
    Veterans must submit Form DD214 to determine eligibility for Veterans’ Preference
