The Science Team at Pride Health is supporting the Biopharmaceutical organization and has an opening for a Human Resource Assistant in Boca Raton, FL.
Position Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant provides support to employees and managers regarding Human Resources processes, policies, systems, and Hire-to-Retire activities. This role handles a high volume of inquiries through phone, chat, text, and other communication channels, providing accurate, timely, and professional resolutions.
Additional Details:
Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extensions
Pay range: $20 to $25 per hour
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a high volume of incoming employee and manager inquiries through phone, chat, text, and other communication channels.
  • Perform day-to-day transactional processing in Workday and other HR-related systems.
  • Research inquiries and provide accurate and timely solutions using knowledge bases and desktop tools.
  • Provide guidance and support related to Workday, Kronos, and other HR systems.
  • Listen carefully to callers, understand their needs, and communicate appropriate solutions clearly.
  • Adhere to HR Operations Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and established procedures.
  • Create and maintain complete, accurate, and detailed records of employee and manager interactions in the case management system.
  • Document issues, actions taken, and proposed resolutions professionally and thoroughly.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2 HR Service Center Specialists or management as appropriate.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive employee and company information.
  • Provide professional, efficient, courteous, and customer-focused service.
  • Identify recurring issues, escalation trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist with improving HR communications, processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR colleagues, managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive working relationships across a diverse employee and manager population.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and HR procedures.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, HR Operations, customer service, or a call center environment preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple inquiries and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with case management systems or HR service portals.
  • Knowledge of HR Operations and Hire-to-Retire processes.
  • IHRIM and/or SHRM certification.
  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience working in a shared-services or HR service center environment.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
