Job description

You have experience leading high-energy functional training classes, as well as experience managing community spaces, and you want to take your background to the next level through program development, volunteer recruitment and engagement, and community center growth. You are invested in recovery from substance use disorder and believe in the power of community. You care about helping to reduce the stigmas around living sober. This role will be based in Las Vegas, Nevada and will support the organization by leading the recruiting, onboarding, and development of all new volunteers, equipping them to take meaningful ownership of the Community Center and allowing us to continue to scale our local impact. The ideal candidate will have great people skills and will be comfortable navigating high-pressure situations with agility and sound judgment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Facility & Operations Management

  • Operational oversight of physical spaces (cleanliness, safety, readiness) 
  • Issue identification, reporting, and follow-through 
  • Vendor and resource coordination 
  • On-site supervision and environment management

Event & Program Management

  • Coaching of weekly functional fitness classes and oversight of open gym
  • Event scheduling and logistics coordination 
  • Oversight of quality and safety standards 
  • Performance tracking (attendance, quality scores, KPIs) 
  • Staffing management and smooth delivery of events

Volunteer Management (Full Lifecycle)

  • Recruitment and pipeline development (with diversity focus) 
  • Onboarding and compliance (background checks, training, documentation) 
  • Database/CRM management (Salesforce tracking, record accuracy) 
  • Retention through engagement and participation tracking

Stakeholder and Partnership Management

  • Stewardship of partnerships with SUD treatment centers
  • Tours of community center as needed for donors, government officials, and media outlets
  • Relationship cultivation with vendors, contractors, and community partners
  • Travel approximately once per week throughout Clark County for offsite events and community building

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • 3+ years of relevant work or volunteer experience (partnership management, volunteer management, program management, leadership, etc.)
  • Fitness certification, preferably in CrossFit, strength training or other gym-based fitness discipline
  • Experience leading engaging fitness classes for all levels
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive throughout Clark County.
