Job description

This Communications Coordinator position is classified as supporting an administrative support department for the Regional Care Group network. The incumbent hired will represent Regional Care Group network on official communications.
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a talented Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the organization. This role requires a creative individual with excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of various communication channels.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the organization's brand
  • Write, edit, and proofread content for various platforms including press releases, newsletters, and social media
  • Manage social media accounts and engage with followers to build an online community
  • Coordinate public relations activities and events
  • Conduct public speaking engagements on behalf of the organization

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • 1 Year of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role
  • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in AP Style
  • Knowledge of market trends and social media management
  • Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences
  • Ability to enforce and follow established brand guidelines and style guides AP Style

Location: Merrillville, Indiana
Pay: $45,893.14 - $60,808.41
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm (M-F)
