Job Overview

Are you a transformational leader who can coach at every level-executive, portfolio, ART/program, and team-and drive an enterprise shift to a modern, productcentric operating model? We are seeking an Agile Transformation Coach to shape, lead, and scale our LeanAgile and SAFe adoption across the company.
This role focuses on aligning strategy and execution, modernizing governance, and embedding customercentric product management practices. The ideal candidate brings deep experience building Agile product organizations, creating and standardizing methodologies, and leading organizational change that removes systemic barriers to flow and value delivery. SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification is required.
Responsibilities may include guiding leadership in applying Lean Portfolio Management, facilitating organizational change, and enabling SAFe adoption through coaching, training, and certification of new practitioners-ensuring the organization builds sustainable Agile capabilities at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Agile & Product Transformation Leadership
  • Design and lead the productcentric operating model, integrating SAFe practices with product management, customer value, and outcomebased governance.
  • Drive the enterprise transition from projects to products/value streams, aligning organizational structure, funding models, and roadmaps with strategic goals.
  • Establish transformation objectives, measures, and guardrails that connect product strategy, portfolio priorities, and delivery flow.
Coaching & Enablement Across All Levels
  • Coach executives, business leaders, and technology leaders on LeanAgile leadership, servant leadership, and decisionmaking that unlocks flow and autonomy.
  • Mentor ART leadership (RTEs, Product Managers, System Architects, Agile Managers), Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and teams to raise maturity and delivery performance.
  • Facilitate executive workshops, ART ceremonies (e.g., PI Planning, ART Sync, Inspect & Adapt), and team practices that improve predictability and customer outcomes.
Methodology & Practice Development
  • Create, refine, and socialize Agile and product practices (e.g., intake, product roadmaps, discovery/backlog practices, flow metrics, OKRs) that standardize and accelerate adoption.
  • Build Communities of Practice and knowledgemanagement mechanisms to sustain learning, reuse patterns, and improve consistency.
SAFe Adoption, LACE Partnership & Change Management
  • Guide the organization through the SAFe Implementation Roadmap, partnering with the LeanAgile Center of Excellence (LACE) to conduct training, coaching, and enablement.
  • Lead enterprise change management-addressing cultural resistance, clarifying roles, and aligning incentives-to institutionalize new ways of working.
  • Develop communication strategies and stakeholder engagement plans that reinforce desired behaviors and accelerate adoption.
Strategy-Execution Alignment & Portfolio Flow
  • Implement Lean Portfolio Management practices (Strategy & Investment Funding, Agile Portfolio Operations, and Lean Governance) to maintain alignment from strategy to delivery.
  • Facilitate portfolio and valuestream planning cadences; connect epics, features, and objectives to measurable outcomes; and ensure capacity allocation reflects strategic priorities.
  • Define and operationalize flowbased metrics (e.g., Flow Time, Flow Predictability, WIP, etc.) to improve decisionmaking and performance
Technology & Delivery Optimization
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture, DevOps/Platform, and Security to align architecture runway, CI/CD, automation, and builtin quality with product delivery needs.
  • Promote modern Agile tooling and transparency (ADO) and enable value stream mapping and continuous improvement across the pipeline.
Global Coordination & Governance
  • Enable distributed Agile delivery across regions/time zones; standardize remote ceremony practices; and ensure governance scales globally without impeding flow.
  • Establish clear escalation paths, risk management routines, and dependency coordination across products and value streams.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification (minimum requirement).
  • Prosci or equivalent Organizational Change Management certification preferred.
  • ScrumMaster/Agile Coach certifications (e.g., CSM, ICPACC) and Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.
Experience & Skills
  • Enterprise Agile/Product Leadership: 10+ years leading Agile product organizations and transformations; proven success coaching executives, portfolios, ARTs, and teams.
  • SAFe at Scale: 5+ years implementing SAFe across portfolios/value streams; handson with PI Planning, ART operations, and Inspect & Adapt.
  • Strategy-Execution Alignment: Expertise in Lean Portfolio Management and outcomebased governance; able to connect investments to measurable customer value.
  • Practice Development & Enablement: Experience creating standards, building CoPs, and institutionalizing practices through LACE and training programs.
  • Technology & Flow: Strong partnership with Architecture/DevOps/Security; familiarity with CI/CD, automation, Agile tooling (Azure DevOps, Jira), and flow metrics.
  • Scale & Complexity: Success in global, distributed environments and complex, multiteam delivery.

  • Flexibility in work hours may be required to support global teams and cadencebased planning events.
