Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in McLean, VA. This role is Hybrid.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support high-performing Agile teams delivering innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. The ideal candidate is a servant leader with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, team facilitation, and stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Do:
* Guide and coach development teams in Agile and Scrum best practices
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and product demonstrations
* Remove impediments and help teams maintain focus on sprint and program objectives
* Foster collaboration, transparency, continuous improvement, and high team performance
* Support requirements gathering, backlog management, and estimation activities
* Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
* Advise leadership on process improvements and Agile adoption strategies
* Provide coaching and feedback to help teams continuously improve delivery and quality

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma/GED or equivalent
* Current SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification or ICAgile Team Facilitation Certification
* Experience serving as Scrum Master for software development teams
* Experience gathering and documenting technical and business requirements
* Experience using Jira to support Agile delivery and team management
* Experience leading client-facing engagements and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders
* Experience coaching technical teams on Agile principles and frameworks
* Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills
* Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks
* Familiarity with large-scale IT environments and complex enterprise infrastructures
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to support technical delivery teams
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across technical and leadership teams
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
