Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Senior Engineer - Maintenance of Line.The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Insulation and Interruption Senior MOL (Maintenance of Line) Engineer is responsible for maintaining support for cutting-edge technologies such as vacuum interrupters and molded insulation for overhead reclosers and padmounted distribution switchgear. You will own the product family and be identifying creating solutions, performing engineering analysis, as well as verification and implementation of cost savings and product improvements.Essential ResponsibilitiesInnovate and Improve: Develop, maintain, and enhance product design and definition data, including bills of materials, drawings, and specifications for vacuum interrupters and insulationCollaborate Globally: Work with global suppliers and Supplier Quality Engineers to conduct assessments, capability analysis, and part approvals.Ensure Quality: Partner with Service, Quality Engineers, Application Engineers, and customers to analyze, document, and resolve product reliability issues, and write detailed product analysis reports.Drive Efficiency: Utilize Design for Six Sigma and Lean techniques to drive product and process improvements. Conduct engineering analysis and digital simulation using advanced tools (DFSS, LSS, CAD, FEA, statistical analysis, software applications, etc.). Constantly seek ways to improve processes, products, and services.Test and Validate: Coordinate functional and reliability test plans using both internal and external lab resources. Apply relevant industry standards to product design, including design verification and validation.Strive for Excellence: Set ambitious goals, measure performance, and constantly seek ways to improve processes, products, and services. Provide timely and accurate updates and documentation to keep projects aligned.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.Minimum of three years of engineering experience.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
